Lweru Bible School (LBS) uses two Diocesan buildings as an Administration Office and classroom. When asked about the Vision and Mission of the school, Rev. Enock Rweyemamu, Principal said that the school focuses on Christian Education and Evangelistic training.
Three different courses are offered:
Currently, LBS can only accommodate 15 students due to lack of dormitory and dining room infrastructures. 15 students share 3 rooms, it is very overcrowded and not easy for them to enjoy and thrive in their studies.
The Diocesan vision is to have a purpose built accommodation and dining facility, that can increase student capacity for both Lweru and surrounding Dioceses.
Ms. Justa Evarista has been the LBS cook since 2017.
The current facilities are a wooden hut, cooking over open fire. The dining hall and firewood store are built from local wood.
Ms Judith Calf, a CMS Australia Missionary, served as Principal of LBS from 2017 until May 2022. We give thank to God for her wonderful ministry among us.
Lweru Bible School is thankful for support from various donors, CMS-A, Anglican Aid, Sparklit AU, and many local parishes who contribute to student fees.
