KYANTARE CHURCH
Kyantare church is a church among the churches of diocese of Lweru, this church is located 35km from the diocesan headquarters. The church was established in Feb 2010 with 20 communions who were worshiped in a house of one person named Fidel Pascal. After one year, church members decided to purchase a piece of land where they built a temporary church building.
Rev. Thadeo Ngonga who has a family of 11 children ministers the church; the pastor is working with Ev. Mikael Damian who has a family of eight children.
When Rev. Gaudin Barahukwa of Kagoma Parish testified to the fact that the old Church started falling to pieces, an urgent program to build this new Church was launched. The new Church was built around the older structure.
