COMMUNITY BASED REHABILITATION
Muleba Disability Relief and Empowerment Organization
The Diocesan Community Based Rehabilitation Program (CBR) has recently been registered as an NGO, Muleba Disability Relief and Empowerment Organization (MDREO).
Sister Conchester Ezekiel Lazaro, staff worker with CBR says the Diocese is serving 465 disabled children.
The Organization deals with children 0-17 years with of a yaasa variety of disabilities, such as blindness, hearing impairment, albinism, epilepsy, intellectual impairment, club foot /feet, left lips and palate, and more.
25th April 2022 was a special clinic day for children with
club feet and epilepy.
This lady has an epileptic son. He could not attend the clinic personally because his health was so bad. She could not afford transport to bring him. Yet she is so full of a smile because she is certain the Diocese will not let her down. She came for the monthly medical supplies for her son.
